Shirley,
I have Clevenger's in my family, but I haven't gotten all of the different
children traced to the 1940's yet to know if she is one of mine.
And no worries on the kittens, I know you love cats way too much to do
anything to them, I wouldn't put it past you to have all them cats in your
house by New Year's <G>
Oh and thanks for finally admitting to the tormenting you do <G>
Gina

I've been looking for the proud owner of a Josephine Clevenger.
She was a
school teacher in Muncie in the early 1940's.
(Don't worry about the rice pot. I just do that to torment Gina. I love
my
kitties - ages 18 & 14.)

I rescued 1 kitten in 1992 from a 4 lane hy Hy 99 through a busy
Fed
Way in Wa and he has been the best. Part Himalayan at that. He is
gong
on 11
now.
Also just 3 yrs ago rescued 2 kittens from a rescue animal place and
they
said they would just be putting the mama of the one to sleep and I
TOOK
her
too. None of that and she is also a very good mouser etc. as are
the
other's. DON"T let anyone put those kirttens in the Rice Pot at any
place.
In 1965 in Hermiston Or I had a friend whose son was working for
the
Garbage collection in summer and one Mon A M they made their rounds and
at
the Chinese Restrant there. they picked up abt 14 cat's head
and boy if
that
didn't get to the news.
I never went there to eat anymore.
They next time may have put them in plastic bags as none fell out
again???
Besides the inspectors went there.
I also have Rooks, Smithson, Clevenger, Holloway etc there in
1800's.
Anyone of these names descendants on list??? Contact me.
Maxine and Will living in Wa.
