I take my laptop hard drive out and attach it the big computer downstair and
copy all my Outlook 2000 (not express), all my pictures, My Favorites, and
Documents on to the other computer (we have an extra hard drive in it just
there for back ups), I date the backup as a folder, labeled date to date,
and I just copy what was new or modified during those dates. You can do
this also just backing up things on a CD or onto a DVD using it as a data
storage, that gives you 4.7 gig of storage space. I do this every two to
three months. I only keep 5 names in my address book, to prevent spreading
virus that attack through that way. I put hubby on the assignment of
backing up favorites list, we talked and tried and came up with, selecting
the favorites, ziping them up and saving them to your desktop and coping to
a CD as well, they can then be transfered and unzipped into a folder
somewhere else. Made his 12000favorites a very small file then. Andrea
