While reviewing some of my notes the other day, I came across
this in my WITT file. Hope it is of assistance to some of you.

"Mrs Elsie (Hunt) Mitchell of Liberty (Indiana) has the following
baptismal
certificate written in German script.
"Elizabeth Fahl is born of Christian parents on the thirteenth of
October
in the year of Christ, seventeen hundred and eighty four. Her father
and
mother are Christian Fahl and Magdalena his lawful wife. The baptizers
are
Adam Wetzel and Anna Margaret his wife."
Elizabeth Fahl married John Daniel WITT ca 1801. At least two of their
children, George W Witt and Daniel Boon Witt were born in N.C.
Other children born to them were Sarah, Elizabeth, Andrew, Mary,
Margaret,
who was born 12 April 1816 at Winchester, Adams Co. Ohio, and John F.
John Daniel Witt died 28 Sept. 1847 Randolph Co. Ind. His wife died 1
Feb
1836, Union Co. Indiana. She is buried at Brownsville."
