Coleen,
Marriage Records in Randolph County start in 1819 and the first Census was
in 1820. With the dates you are looking for I would look in Virginia or
North Carolina.
You need to go to the State where you think they were born or married and
request look ups. Each state and county has a website with a resource page
that lists contact information and people who will do look ups for that
area.
This list is for History or Genealogy that pertains to Randolph County,
Indiana and most of the volunteers who do look ups on this list only have
resources for this county or the state of Indiana, so they would not be able
to provide you with a copy of the certificate or look at the records. Most
of the volunteers only have access to what is already available on the
internet for other states, which would be the same information you would be
able to do a Google search for.
You have a better chance of getting a certificate if you go to the actual
state you are needing information from.
Here is a link to the USGenWeb Project. On the main page there is a list of
links to each state Project.

Rootsweb has message boards and email lists for each state and county where
you can post a request. If you use the Message Boards, be sure to post your
request on the board for the State and County you are looking for or your
post will be moved by Rootsweb to the appropriate boards.
