Hi Cindy,
Don and I did research in the Union City library years ago and were
impressed that they had a lot of local information. Plus, it isn't much
more than about 20 minutes from Winchester, so why not stop there first and
then on to Winchester. When we were in Indiana about a month ago, we
stopped off in the library in Union City and donated one of our books "Civil
War Letters of the Gantz Family." Don's great-grandfather & 2 of his
brothers were Indiana Volunteers and wrote about 75 letters home that have
been saved. We published them hardbound. Good luck.
