GenFest 2006 is in the works! - Many of you may know that I had not anticipated GenFest
2005 being an annual event. However, virtually everyone wants to have it be so and I can
hardly ignore that. Several suggested that we rotate hosts from county to county and that
was certainly music to my ears. Hence, I have been working behind the scenes these past
few months, forming a committee to put those suggestions into action.
I'm pleased to tell you that GenFest 2006 will be hosted by the Anderson Public
Library. We have a date of June 17th, 2006 and Beth Oljace has some mighty nice plans on
her list. I believe you'll be pleased with her version of GenFest. There are plans
to have a website up sometime in December and I'll let you know when that happens.
In the meantime, we finally have a collection of photos from GenFest 2005 and I urge you
to take a peek. Lynne has once again, done a fabulous job!
