Since they are in Huntington buried there, I would assume that they died there. If you
write to the public library there, they will look up their obits, I assume that since you
know they are buried there that you have pictures and know the dates from the stones.
Huntington Library is
http://www.huntingtonpub.lib.in.us/inrm.html they are very helpful
there. They can look up obits, they have burial books, marriage, death, birth indexes,
Lots of directories and so much more.
If they died 1882 and after then you can write to Andrew at the Huntington County Health
Dept and ask to find out if there is info there for you and then you can send in for the
info. It would be 6 for a certified copy, less for just genealogy info. I have
Huntington Co birth and death certifcate request forms. I can send you a scanned in copy
if you would like.
I have almost all of the Huntington County Twps, plot map (owners) of 1877. If you can
tell me what twp they lived in, I can look that up and scan in and send as well. If there
is no death certicate at the local level, that doesn't mean that there isn't one
at the state level.
I also have the 1882 Huntington Co History Book as well. I will look to see if they are
in there.
What years of census do you have them on and where were they?
Have you guessed yet, that's where I grew up?
