I have family buried at Big Cedar Cemetery, and I am almost certain I saw a
stone for a Job Stout several years ago that had been broken when the big
cedars were cut down. The reason I remember is that at one time I thought
Job Stout might be my husband's ancestor, but it proved otherwise. His David
Stout was in the adjoining county of Decatur. He was b. ca. 1795 in NJ and
came to Indiana about 1820 via Nicholas Co KY.

I don't have information on your Abraham but ~
A David Stout of Randolph Co IN entered land in the adjoining county of
Delaware, 6/30/1828 in Sec. 21, T.20 N, R.11E. Other Stouts entering land
in the same T. & R. were ~ Aaron of Henry Co; John & Solomon. This info was
on the Government Land Office site ~
http://www.glorecords.blm.gov/ ~ this
site was closed down by court order because it had information regarding
Indian land. It was a fantastic site and hope the problem can be resolved
and returns the site to the internet.
