I found it both interesting and uplifting that in this money grubbing
time when most newspapers are charging higher and higher amounts to
print obituaries, the Greenville Daily Advocate states:
"Daily Advocate obituaries are now called in "In Memoriam" to better
honor those who have passed on. They appear in larger type with a more
readable column width. Pictures are encouraged and will be published at
no additional charge.
In Memoriam notices can be laminated for a nominal fee. Please
make arrangements through your funeral director.
All proceeds will be put toward the Daily Advocate News in
Education."
Good for the Advocate!
