Funny, but......the first thing that came to my mind was the Vermont Country Store
catalog. They sell a pink candy pig. You break it into pieces with a tiny hammer to eat
it.
I too would be interested to learn the meaning of the phrase.

For as long as I can remember I heard my mother and grandmother used a certain phrase. If
you asked one of them if they loved you, the answer was: "Like a candy pig!" I
asked both of them what that meant and they both gave me the same answer - "Don't
know. My mother/grandmother used to say it." Has anyone else heard this? Any idea
what it means?
