Does anyone know the origin of the family of James M. Huston (b. 1846) and Robert M. (or
N.) Huston (b. 1848), who were born in Ohio and settled in Randolph Co. IN, in the 1870s?
I'm trying to determine if they are part of my Ohio Huston family - this branch would
have come originally from Greene Co., OH - father George L. Huston. (they went to Greene
Co. from Knox Co. OH and before that, from Washington Co., PA). They may have gone first
to Delaware Co., IN, and it's possible their father George remarried and settled
there. James M. married Martha A. Dragoo in 1870 in Delaware Co., moved to Randolph Co.,
and had sons George and Andrew Curtis, and daughter Isa Jeanette. Robert married Mary
Hervet in Randolph Co. in 1874 and had sons Walter R., William H., and James L.
Thanks for any help anyone can give me. These seem like my bunch of Hustons, but I
can't make a solid connection.
