Becky;
I believe that we have the same Hannah Fisher!
Jacob Fisher and Delila Ruble Fisher's youngest daughter Mary Emily was my great
grandmother.
I have a copy of a hand written page by Cecil C. Fisher in 1937 (4th generation of the
John Fisher Line). Cecil did his best, but it has no dates and is missing the name/s of
John's wife, and some of the children. I have found some of the missing information,
but not all.
The sheet starts with John Fisher who came from PA to OH in 1816 and to IN 1826 - taught
school and raised a family of 12 children - however, Cecil only lists 5 children by name.
HANNAH, Kattie, Jacob, Thomas J. and Kesia. They were supposedly written in order of
birth. Jacob was born 12-1-1808 in PA which would make Hannah at least 2 yrs older. But
as you know, ages and places of birth found for individuals nearly always varies from
record to record. The sheet also has Hannah married a Reynolds, I have found no record of
this marriage. Perhaps Cecil's information was to the best of his memory and not from
a family bible, or Henry Martin was her second husband? I do have Henry Martin as
Hannah's husband. Found in the 1840 IN Census for Randolph Co., White River Twp. -
Henry Martin, wife and 3 sons.
