I got several request today for the CD, I will be retaking a few stones that
were blurry mostly due to the sun so I'll go in the early morning and
hopefully beat this heat while I'm at it. I am sorting the stones out by
row currently. They should be out to all of you by Friday. I will send to
the home address on your envelopes unless otherwise e-mailed differently.
Andrea

Message Board Post:
I spent this afternoon and evening photographing the Mt. Zion Cemetery,
which is in White River Twp, located south of 200S and on 225E. (south of
Winchester on US27 to 200s to 225e). There are about 600 stones, I took 910
photos out there. I will send a CD of them to Gina for the web-site, and if
anyone wants a copy please send me $2 to cover my costs and I will burn you
a CD and mail it to you, this just covers my costs, not for pay of my time.
I am not going to do requests of sending photo's via e-mail, there are just
to many to sort through.
I would say there are about 75 stones that are broken and or can not be read
anymore. If there is someone out there who can help me with iding them I
would appreciate being contacted, I will send you a copy of the photos free
for the help.
I took photos of the start and end of each row, starting on the west side of
the cemetery and ending on the east side. Amazing how straight the rows
were, there were just two rows out of sink with the rest of the cemetery and
I just made them their own rows in the photos. Following this, if you
visit, you should be able to figure out where the stone is or was. Also
included are photos of the church at different angles, and I took area
photos of the cemetery as well.
If you would like a CD send reimburstment along with a note "Mt.Zion
Cemetery, July 24, 2006" to me at Andrea Long, P.O.Box 422, Winchester, IN
47394.
