Hi Lori,
If you go to The Porter County Public Library site, and click on the
Genealogy tab near the top of the page, you can search their obit index. I
did that and learned that Last Name-Stout, First Name- Buster "Bus", age 70,
Death- 10/18/2000, Paper- 10/20/2000, From- Kodak, TN/Lake Station, Index-
154111 is in the index.
There is a place to download a form for requesting obituaries, which you can
send in with a nominal fee to get a copy.
The website is
http://www.pcpls.lib.in.us/genealogy.html . On the right
side near the bottom is a section to Request Information, and one is for an
obituary request form. Click on that and it takes you to the place where
you can download the form. There is a nominal fee charged.
Good luck

Buster died in Portage, Porter Co. Indiana according to his SSDI:

Born: 17 Feb 1930

I am looking for an obit for him to see if this is the right one. He was
first married to Rachel Blevins in Washington County Virginia and also
lived in Tennessee.
If someone could get the obit for me, I would very much appreciate it.
Thank you, Lori
