This book has no cover, and no index, and no author. I bought it on Ebay; it just has the
insides, but it is full of Indiana biographies. I am not researching this family, just
thought I would share. I do not know anymore about these families or these surnames. NOTE:
I don’t know if there is any additional mention of this family in the book, it has no
index. I do not want to sell this book. I am typing the biographies from it.

Surnames in this biography are: BINKLEY, Weybright, Clark, Call, Hurley,
DEAN D. BINKLEY is a native son of Indiana, and all his business experience since
leaving high school has been in the lumber and builders supply business. Mr. Binkley
was one of the organizers and is manager of the White City Lumber Company of Muncie, a
business that has grown to large proportions. Mr. Binkley was born at Goshen, Indiana,
April 6, 1892, son of Benjamin C. and Henrietta (Weybright) Binkley. His father was born
at Niagara Falls, New York, attended school there and was twelve years of age when brought
to Indiana. Throughout his active life he was a machinist at Goshen, where he died in
July, 1928. He is buried in the Oak Ridge Cemetery there. His wife, Henrietta Weybright,
was born at Goshen, attended school there, and all her life has been a member of the
Methodism Episcopal Church. She now lives with a daughter in Milwaukee. There were nine
children: Charles Guy, who died in infancy; Chester Roy, of California; Leonard Hugh, of
Atlanta, Georgi!
a; Russell A., of Denver, Colorado; Lowell Wayne, who died in California in 1927; Lloyd
Weybright, who died at Marion, Ohio, in 1926; Pierre M., of Springfield, Ohio; Dean D; and
Loretta, Mrs. Keith Clark, of Milwaukee. Dean D. Binkley was educated in the
public schools of Goshen, graduating from high school in 1910. The following ten
years he was in the service of the Indiana Harbor Lumber & Coal Company and during the
last five years of that time had been promoted to the responsibilities of assistant
manager. Leaving there in December, 1919, he came to Muncie and assisted in organizing the
White City Lumber Company, of which he has since been secretary treasurer, director and
manager. During the ten years since its establishment the company has developed its
facilities, including a large plant and yards at 2100 East Twelfth Street, and provides a
prompt and reliable service for all building materials. The company employs about six

ffiliated with Muncie Lodge No. 433, A. F. & A. M., Muncie Chapter Royal Arch Masons,
Muncie Council, R. & S. M., Commandery No. 18, Knights Templar. He was formerly active
in the B. P. 0. Elks and in the Kiwanis Club. He is a member of the Indiana Retail Lumber
Dealers Association, Indiana Builders Supply Association. He is a member of the Muncie
Chamber of Commerce, is a Republican and is affiliated with the United Brethren Church.
Mr. Binkley married, October 11, 1917, Miss Glenn M. Call, of Valparaiso, Indiana,
daughter of Henry and Anna (Hurley) Call. Her father spent his active life as a farmer and
stock raiser near Valparaiso, where he died in 1917. Her mother resided at South Bend,
where she passed away in April, 1980. Mrs. Binkley attended the public schools of
Valparaiso, and is an active member of the United Brethren Church. They have three
children, Dean D., Jr., Maxwell C. and William E. The two older sons are students in the
public schools of Muncie.
