Hi,
Would like to share information with others who are researching the Lytle family of Valpo.
Oldest male I have is Aaron Lytle (also spelled Litle), who died October 8, 1870. His
wife, Hannah Jones, died in Valpo Nov 4, 1877. Children were Jane, Thomas G., E.A., H.
Margaret, Richard, A.H., Hester, Eunice, Aaron Wesley, and Sallie Jane.
Both Thomas and Aaron Wesley were Civil War veterans. Thomas Lytle served as Porter Co
sheriff in 1850s and mayor of Valparaiso in 1860s and 1870s and then again in 1880s.
Aaron Wesly Lytle was postmaster for Valpo 1898-1906. He was in the ice business at Flint
Lake and active in the GAR.
Hester Lytle may have married a Joseph Lynn. Sallie Jane Lytle may have married an Aaron
Bell.

Hello, Listers:
I keep hoping someone might have come across the name MUSTER in
his/her Valparaiso research. Samuel and Susanna, with their daughter
Sophia, moved there from NYC (originally from Switzerland; emigrated
in 1864) between 1876-80. I believe some relatives must have been
there before in order for this family to pick up and travel to IN from
NY. Anyone????
Cheers,
Judy W.
