There's no William H. BONHAM listed in the cemetery index for McCool
Cemetery....So, as you suspect, William may be buried in Hobart.
However, there are other BONHAMs in McCool Cemetery. They include:
BONHAM, Heber B. 1875-1941
BONHAM, Mabel E. 1886-1975
BONHAM, Elmer G. Company G 14th Infantry, Spanish American War
BONHAM, Maude H. Mother 1885-1958
BONHAM, Glenn R. 1886-1971
BONHAM, Lillian A. 1898-1985
Hope this information can assist you.
Regards,
Steve Shook

Is there someone who is going to the Genealogy Department of Valparaiso
Public Library or the Indian Room of the Lake County Public Library in
the near future? I'm looking for a cemetery listing for William H.
Bonham, died February 11, 1914 in Porter co., Portage twp., town of
McCool (which is Portage now I think) I think he is buried in Hobart
In. or Portage. The death certificate says McCool, undertaker A. Wild,
Address is Hobart. I don't know if that means address of the undertaker
or the cemetery.
