Surname: DYE
-------------------------
I received the following e-mail message from Janice Speece (HighJan(a)interaxs.net)
concerning the DYE family of Porter County. I'm posting it here for archival
purposes and for others researching the DYE surname in Porter County, Indiana.
I will do free lookups in the Chesterton Newspapers index published by
John Allred, which covers October
1882 to December 1890 only.

I know there were a lot of French Canadians who ended up in Porter County.
I have been working on a Xavia Dye, also French Canadian. I may be able
to help you with the French Canandian information.
