Subject: [INPORTER-L] Oliver Brown obit?
Hello Porter Co. Listers,
Does anyone have access to an obituary for Oliver R Brown, who died 6
May 1893 in Porter Co., Indiana most likely at the home of either Alfred
L Brown or Edward Brown? Oliver lived in Spencer Co., Indiana until 4
weeks before his death, as this article states: "Uncle Oliver Brown, who
went from here to Valparaiso, this State, about 4 weeks ago, died last
Saturday at the home of his brother in that place, aged 71 years. Uncle
Oliver came here from Kentucky and lived here for 65 years." This was
in the 12 May 1893 Rockport Democrat. Thanks, Kathie
