Hi William,
I found no listing for any HOECKELBERG in the Chesterton
Cemeteries. I also checked Jackson, Liberty, Westville and Pine.
No one by that name at those either! (I was hoping to find who
she was buried next to. :) Maybe she didn't have a stone?
Your best source would be The Chesterton Tribune.
I'll keep my eyes open for clues.

Subject: [INPORTER-L] OBIT: Mrs Charles Hoeckelberg 1936
Michigan City Evening Dispatch
14 Oct 1936, page 13
Mrs. Charles Hoeckelberg, well known and beloved Chesterton woman,
passed away at her home on Calumet Rd, Chesterton, at 8:30 p.m,
Tuesday after a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be conducted at the First M. E. church, with
Rev. Henry Braun officiating. Burial will be in the Chesterton
cemetery.
There obviously isn't much information in this obituary. It doesn't
say anything regarding survivors, and perhaps there weren't any. But
it doesn't say that either. I'm trying to determine which Charles
Hoeckelberg she was the wife of, and what her first name was. Any
help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
William Taber, Indianapolis
