Dr. Isaac Boyd, an old citizen of Valparaiso, was apparently in good health last Monday. He went to the polls and voted, came home, and at 4 o'clock in the afternoon, dropped dead. He suffered with heart disease.

Valparaiso Porter County Vidette, Thursday January 26, 1905 Page 3 Col 6 - Aged Resident Crosses River
Robert Quinn, a man familiar with a majority of the people of this county, died Thursday afternoon at 1:45 o'clock at his home in Porter township, at the advanced age of 85 years, with heart trouble. The deceased has been a resident of this city and county for about a half century.
He was the father of ten living children, five boys and five girls, James, Reuben and William of Jefferson County, Nebraska; Joseph and Charles QUINN, Mrs. Sarah CONNER and Mrs. Eliza CHURCH, Nebraska; Mrs. Cathryan SAWYER, Mrs. Anna MERRIMAN, of Porter township and Miss Elizabeth QUINN, who remained at home. The funeral will be held at the Boone Grove church Sunday morning at 11 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Vernon Harrington. Burial at the Boone Grove cemetery.
