That's wonderful that they are going to clean it up. I was there last year,
and it was pretty overgrown. Some of the stones are in the trees. I wasn't
able to explore as much as I wanted too since it rained the night before and
it was very muddy and wet. But it was easily my favorite cemetery of all the
ones I visited in Indiana. It's a very peaceful setting.

I was out at Morrison Cemetery this evening. The Boy Scouts have taken on
this cemetery as their project for the summer and started clean-up
tonight.
The cemetery is in sad shape, but the road to get there is decent. They
worked for two hours and uncovered several stones that were completely
covered by vines. They are clearing it so a mowing crew will be able to
maintain it.
I couldn't believe there are over 100 people buried there. I'm sure many
of
the stones are down and covered. There was a lot of damaged ones.
I even had my camera with me. I wish I had read my e-mail before I left.
