Pike County Democrat 3 July 1908 - On last Saturday morning the death angel
made its appearance at the home of A. J. Loveless and removed from its midst
Miss Winnie M. Loveless, after a week's suffering from stroke of paralysis.
She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Loveless, who preceeded her to
the golden shore several years ago; she was born February 27, 1854, being 54
years, 3 months and 16 days old at the time of her death. the deceased
leaves two brothers, George W. and Andrew J. Loveless, and a number of
relatives and a host of friends. She was a most highly respected lady of
htis community. She professed religion and joined the Regular Baptist church
at Bethel several years ago, and lived the life of a faithful christian up
to the time of her death. The funeral services were held at the Bethel
church on Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Rev. J. W. Richardson conducting
the same; the large church building being filled. Beneath the green sod of
Popular Grove cemetery her body was gently laid to rest.
