Hi Teresa!
Utah is my husband's real name. He has traveled a good deal but I doubt
that he has ever been to the state of Utah. We were both born and raised
in
Missouri. My mother and her dad, Ollie Doughty were born in Winslow,
Pike
County, IN. My grandmother, Beulah Eva Thomas was born in Linton, Greene
County and moved to Pike County when she was eleven years old.
Ollie & Beulah moved to Missouri in the early 1920's but most of the
families are still in Indiana, many in Pike County. I have so many
surnames
in Pike County that it is impossible to list them all: Abel,
Benedict ,
Bright, Cox, Crow, Dennis, Dedman, Doughty, Evans, Lynch, Madison, Mason,
McAtee, Risley, Selby, Stinson, Thomas & Yager, to mention a few! As one
other person put it, some I know a lot about, others almost nothing.
You are all welcome to visit my Tree at
WorldConnect.rootsweb.com Use my
database code: dwatson If you find anything that needs to be corrected
or
added, I'd appreciate you letting me know. All the info I have
is on my
Tree.
