Hi Debbie
Thanks for the picture. I can't tell you who Stella is....however, we are KIN!
All stem from Isaac FLEENER ( 1789-1841) and wife, Mary Ann (Polly) CRAWFORD (c 1794 - c
1871) . My line is their first son, William Henry Harrison Fleener. His brother, Isaac
Washington Fleener, was the youngest of 12 children. A sister, Caroline Matilda Fleener,
mar a James Ferguson.
Other allied families to the Fleener/Crawford union are: Richardson, Camp, McMurtrey,
Bilderback, Hooker/Knight, Allmon, Green, Julian, Rickets, Massey, Spillman, Pierce.
I remember attending the Fleener-Ferguson Family reunions held at the park in Spurgeon.

Hi Pat,
I own a picture of my Great Grandmother Cora Dell Mason as a young woman also in this
picture is Stella Fleener. I am assuming they were best friends or related some how. You
can view this picture on my web site on this page.
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/~c1debbi/Mason/picm005.htm In my records I have
Stella married to Floyd Corn. And, Stella's Grandfather Isaac Washington Fleener
married Mahala Ferguson, which eventually ties the Ferguson line into my Shepard line.
OMG WE are all related!! Is this your Fleener line?

Subject: Pike County Kinfolk...
I am delighted to see so much activity in Pike County. I was born in Pike and moved
to KY at an early age. Attended first two years of school at Spurgeon and then, Winslow.
At the time, I thought I was kin to everyone I met. AND it was about the case.
My immediate line is FLEENER on my father's side and RILEY on my maternal side.
Where I live - Russellville, Logan County KY - was a "pass-thru" for many of
the early settlers in Southern IN. The courthouse never burned and the records here date
to 1792. I found listings for both my early Fleener and Riley ancestors.
I have researched the family for several years. The Petersburg library is an
excellent resource. Certainly enjoyed my two visits there. Also, the cemeteries where
most of my kinfolk are buried - Patoka Grove and Blackfoot - are in excellent condition.
My thanks to those folks who take care of this. AND we all certainly appreciate Sandi!
