Thanks Steve for answering. I have looked at all the census records in Pike Co. The only
Benjamin F. Johnson is with some Ashbys in 1850 along with 2 other Johnsons. He was born
in 1849 so I am sure that is him. 1860 I do not find him. 1870 census I think I found
him listed as Frank with Mary his wife and Benjamin age 2 which is right for their first
child. Then he is on the 1880 census in Greene Co. MO with his family.
I am at my wits end as to who his parents are. If that is him with the Ashbys I am
wondering if his parents are both dead. Would appreciate hearing from anyone that knows
about this family. I know who Mary Jane's parents are.
