I just saw this old photograph on ebay and thought a Benjamin researcher might be
interested in it. I just hate to see old Pike county memorabilia go this way.....

"You are bidding on a wonderful old photo of a little boy standing on a small
platform holding a drum. A good title for this photo would be "Little Drummer
Boy".
The boy does have on button up leather shoes. The matting has fancy scalloped edges. On
the bottom of the photo it says "M. J. Brady, eisert's block, Petersburg,
Ind." The overall size is 4 1/4 inches wide and 6 1/2 inches tall. On the back of
the photo along the top is written the boys name " Horace Benjamin " and along
the right hand edge it sis written "etta Boy".
The photo is in good condition. On the upper right hand side is some very small dark
specks. There are also some small discoloration spots on the back of the photo."
