Pike County Democrat - July 19, 1907, Wanetta, the three year-old daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Percy Benjamin, living on north Twelfth street, was
accidentally drowned last week. the little tot had strayed from its home to
the small branch that flows underneath the depot and fell from a bridge
that crosses the stream near its mone and drowned, owing to the fact that
the heavy rain that fell the day before had swollen the stream to an
unusual size. The body was recovered after the accident and buried the next
day. The parents have the sympathy of the people in their loss and sorrow.

McIntire of this city, died Monday, the funeral services being conducted at
the Main Street Presbyterian church on Tuesday afternoon by Rev. H. C. Temple.

Anderson cemetery Monday afternoon.

years, died Tuesday near Needmore. The funeral services were conducted
Wednesday by Elder J. W. Richardson and interment at the Anderson cemetery.
She was a well known and highly respected woman.

died Wednesday. The funeral services were held yesterday and interment at
the Union cemetery.
Pike County Democrat - May 3, 1907, Mrs. Nancy Miley, aged 73 years, died
at her home near the water works plant Wednesday morning. The funeral
services were held yesterday afternoon and interment at the Walnut Hills
cemetery.
Pike County Democrat - May 3, 1907,John H. Marsee, well known in this city,
died at the home of his mother last Saturday night. He had been in ill
health for several monhts. He was 46 years of age. The funeral services
were held at the residence Monday afternoon by Rev. McGuire of Washington;
interment at Walnut Hills cemetery.

Clay township, died Monday afternoon of cancer of the stomach. The funeral
services were held Tuesday and burial at the Odd Fellows' cemetery at Union.

Pike County Democrat - October 23, 1903,Ona Atkinson, the 15 year old
daughter of John Atkinson of Augusta, died Tuesday night of typhoid fever.
The funeral took place Thursday, the remains being interred in the Mt.
Pisgah cemetery.-Winslow Dispatch.
Pike County Democrat - October 23, 1903, Mrs. Sarah E. Willis, living near
Hosmer, died Monday morning of gangrene, aged 78 years, 1 month and 10
days. The funeral occured Tuesday morning, the reamins being intered at
Walnut Hills. The deceased was one of the oldest residents of the county
and leaves a large circle of friends to mourn her loss.
