Isaac Walker who was the bro. of Jonathan Walker (b.abt 1790 in Ky.) m.
Susanna Risley. Isaac,Jonathan, several of the Brenton's(who were Jonathan's
wife's
bros. as well as Woolsie Pride(who was a good friend of Jonathan's) were in
the Battle of Tipacanoe. This obviously has to fall in this line. I do think
that the Asby line falls in the line in other places also, but again, not my
direct. It may also fall into my other Pike Co. lines of
Beard,Walker,Hughes/Hughs,English,Brenton,Johnston/Johnson,Ralston,Mayo,Corn,Beard/Baird,
and
Summers,in fact I am sure that it does someplace. I also know that the Pride line
falls into some of these other lines, and through Woolsie, but again not sure how at
the moment.
Please let me know if you learn anything. Although the Risley family is NOT
my direct line, mine is the Walker line, with Jonathan being my illusive 3rd g
grandfather. I have much on him in Indiana.,but nothing on him prior to that.
No pedigree. Others in the "brick wall" catagory would be
Hughes/Hughs,Summers,Johnston/Johnson,and Corn.
