I don't have any help with your Perry County family. But I can help with
this: apparently Perry County posts come through mislabeled as Gibson
County. But you did get this to us Perry County folks. I hope some one can
help with your query.

I e-mailed this query to the INPERRY message list, but somehow it was
posted
to INPERRY. Here's trying again.
Is anyone on the list a descendant of Mary Ann Davaul? I'm trying to
figure
out who Mary Ann's parents were? Who was her husband? Mary Ann posted a
query in The Boston Pilot newspaper in the 1800s. See the excerpt below.
An excerpt from THE SEARCH FOR MISSING FRIENDS IRISH IMMIGRANT
ADVERTISEMENTS PLACED IN THE BOSTON PILOT, VOLUME VI: 1866-1870, by editor
B. Emer O'Keeffe says this
"OF WILLARD CENTER; when last heard of him he was in Lower Canada, between
Montreal and Quebec. Any information of him will be thankfully received by
his niece, Mary Ann Davaul, (maiden name Mary Ann Center, daughter of
Frederick Centre [sici].) Cannelton, Perry county, Indiana."
