Julie,
I found a little information for you on Ancestry.
Indiana Census, 1790-1890
Name: Peter Lehew
State: IN
County: Dearborn County
Township: Males Over 21 Years
Year: 1807
Page: 024
Database: IN 1807 State Census Index
Source Information:
Jackson, Ronald V., Accelerated Indexing Systems, comp. Indiana Census,
1790-1890 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA: The Generations Network,
Inc., 1999. Original data: Compiled and digitized by Mr. Jackson and AIS
from microfilmed schedules of the U.S. Federal Decennial Census,
territorial/state censuses, and/or census substitutes.
Also you can look for census records at this link on Heritage Quest:

Just click on the yellow link and input p12345. In 1820 your Peter's
last name is spelled Lahue on Ancestry's index.
You might want to call the Spencer County Library [I usually google the
library in the county I need help]. They have wills on microfilm. They
have a good genealogy department. You can also email them.
You asked what wars they might have been in, depending on when they were
born it could have been the Rev. War or the War of 1812. You can look on
Heritage Quest for the Rev. War pension files to see if your John Murfy
was in that war.
Good luck with your research,
Virginia
