Subject: CARR, CLAYCOMB, FOSTER & WALTER in Perry County in the 1800's
Hello All Perry County Researchers
I am researching the CARR family in Perry County and all lines that lead
from them. I am seeking the children of the family below.
My line in Perry County is
3rd g-grandparents
Hiram Carr (c.1795-1837)(son of Absolom Carr) and Delilah Claycomb
(1810-1837) that relocated from Kentucky in about 1820-1825. Delilah died
the a day after her husband Hiram and trying to find the cause and final
resting place. Delilah's father Baltszar Claycomb died in Perry County and
wanting to locate him also.
2nd g-grandparents
John Elijah (1831-1907) Carr and Dorathea Ann Foster (1827-1898). Dorathea
father was Thomas Foster and her sister Elizabeth married John's brother
Hiram Carr
g-grandparents
William Hester Carr (1859-1938) and Emma Frances Walter (1858-1938).
Emma's
father was Capt. Robert Hancock Walter. This Carr line moved to
Saline
County, Illinois in 1899. My grandfather, the eldest, was 15 at the time
of
the short trek west
grandfather
Emery Carr b. 1884 Perry County-d. 1984 Illinois. He told me in 1968 that
he
married my grandmother Olive Jane (Ollie) Rice in Perry County and I
cannot
find any records the two times I was in the County, researching.
Willing to share all information I have
