A woman contacted as she needs medical information on Kellems descendants - here
is her message. Please contact her if you know of any of these auto-immune diseases in
the family.

Talking about that (before I give you her message) I want to
let everyone know that medical history of your ancestors is very very important and is
something that needs to be passed down to your children and grandchildren along with the
stories and other genealogical things. Some examples: A few years ago someone contacted
me because they needed a kidney for a young child, and they didn't know of any blood
relative who might be a match and willing to donate this. I gave her a list of several of
the same line as she was and the known addresses of them after I had contacted them and
asked if I could give information on them out. The child received one of these
relative's kidneys and is doing quite well now. I also have very rare things in my
blood lines and when my son was possibly goi!
ng to need a transfusion we had to find out who would even be a match for him too -
fortunately his body kicked in its natural healing and the transfusion wasn't needed,
but in the testing we found out which line of my family this rare form of this blood
problem came from, and because of this several newborn children have been helped before a
problem occurred. Last example is that my granddaughter has Downes Syndrome -- the kind
that comes from when both parents are carriers of this gene -- neither I, my husband, or
my daughter-in-law's parents were even aware of this being in our families and after
the child was born (she is beautiful and I am glad that they still took her to full-term
since she is a precious gift from God) - anyway, after mentioning this people started
speaking up and saying things like - oh remember so and so ... they had a Downes Syndrome
child, etc..... we could have prevented the unexpected "surprise" if we
had only known, and they could ha!
ve done the checks on both of the parents before they had any children
, etc.

Here is the letter:

From: c starr

true or false.

If at all possible I need to know of any autoimmune
