Susannah Springer's parents were Jacob Springer of Frederick, Frederick Co.,
Maryland. He served in the French and Indian War.
His wife Elizabeth, I believe to be Elizabeth Schonauer from Lancaster
County, Penn.
As best I see Jacob and Elizabeth did not come west to Indiana. Susannah
and John were in Perry County quite early.
There seem to be both German Springers and Scandinavian Springers. The
Lancaster County Schonauers are almost surely German so Jacob Springer may
be also.
The info you have on Barnabus is what I have but no further on his line. I
have not worked on this line in many years, I will have to dig in my records
to see what I have. [Too many interstate moves on my part to have good
files.]

I don't know who Susannah's parents were but the Springer
family is very
well documented so maybe we can work together towards a connection.
I have a Miranda Springer (born 1820) who was a daughter of Rev. Joseph
and
Catherine Springer. Joseph and Catherine were first cousins. Joseph
was a son of John and Sarah (Butler) Springer. Catherine, a daughter of
Edward and Elizabeth (Creager) Springer.
Your Susannah and John had a son Barnabus who married a Mary Jane Cart.
Somehow I
think they connect in with my Cart families. I have a Susan Mary
Cart (born 1834) who married Green Berry Weedman. She was a daughter of
John Henry and Jane (Gilliland) Cart.
Any connections?

I have Susannah Springer [abt 1770 - abt 1836] who married John Miller
[d
abt 1836]. marriage and deaths in Perry County. Her family came
from
Frederick County, Maryland, and before that probably from Lancaster
County,
PA.
