Charlie:
Yes, it would be a waste of time to go to the Capitol on Monday, February 1.
As I advised in a couple of posts last night, the HOUSE HEARINGS HAVE BEEN
POSTPONED UNTIL MONDAY AFTERNOON, FEBRUARY 8TH.
The hearings will begin as soon as the general meeting of the House of
Representatives (which starts at 1:00 P.M.) is over and the Representatives
have left the room. The Agriculture, Natural Resources and Rural
Development Committee hearings on the six bills pending before the house
will begin right after the adjournment of the general meeting. Rep. Lytle's
assistant suggested we be there by 1:30 P.M. so as not to miss anything.
If you've passed word on to anyone about the original 2/1/99 date, PLEASE
let them know that the hearing date has been changed to MONDAY, FEBRUARY
8th, in the HOUSE CHAMBERS (Third Floor of the State House).

I called My Rep. Cleo Duncan's sect. about the meeting Monday
Feb.1 1999,
she said that bill was initiated by Mark Lytle ( chairman of the
committee ) and it pertained to the financing the upkeep of the old
cemeteries and it wouldn't help Rep. Cleo because her House Boll wouldn't
be in the committee till later. She said that she would keep all of us,
that is on E-mail, informed as to when the next hearing would be. So it
sounds like it might be a waist of time and effort to go monday????
