The following was posted on the CEMETERY-L list on Rootsweb. I believe New
Castle is in Henry County. I don't know if Rick <SBCmusic(a)aol.com> is a
member of this group. Perhaps Scott should contact him, if he hasn't already.

Just a quick update for those y'all on the Henry County, Indiana "Circle"
Cemetary.
Right now, the trip is still on for tomorrow, however, there are strong T-
storms forecast for tonight and tomorrow A.M.. The property owner of the
property I will be crossing has given me permission to visit the graveyard,
however, he has asked me to postpone the trip if it is muddy, which, of
course, I will do.
Just a couple of notes of interest from local residents I've been talking to.
There are about 18 graves there, and most date early-mid 1800's. I've been
trying to contact the local historical society but no answer (and no answering
machine) so far. Anyway, it's in a pretty remote area, and the local
teenagers in the 50's and 60's apparently used to call it the "Witches
Circle", and claimed it was haunted. I suspect there was a fair amount of
partying going on there, so I hope that it's not too terribly vandalized. (is
it a Z or S in there?? Oh well)
I'll update y'all tomorrow,
Rick

Volunteers are still needed to help with Francis Wells and
McClintick/Sylvester Cemeteries clean-up projects this spring.
