Subject: Re: cleaning & repair of gravestones
Debra,
Please forgive me but I think this is important enough to send to the
whole list.
As others on the list have seen, I advocate the use of an outstanding
publication entitled "Landscapes of Memories, Repairing Tombstones" by
Tamara Anson-Cartwright. Not only does this book provide instructions
for repairing gravestones, it serves as an excellent guide to identify
most of the common materials used for gravestones and gives a detailed
description of the characteristics of each.
The cost of the book is $10 Canadian. I don't remember the address or
phone number. If someone else would be good enough to help out, it
would be appreciated.
