I have positively identified the location of a cemetery that was put down
(they put the stones under
ground where they layed) in the 1930's. I believe the last burials would
have been before 1860's.
I have found no legal record of their doing this, how can I resurrect the
stones? It was a small family
plot that was never "set-off". There is actually no record of it at all,
except for eyewitnesses. I got
confirmation from the son of the man who actually did the digging and
putting down of the stones.
The land now belongs to a woman in Florida, she cash rents it to a local
farmer. Any suggestions?
