Hi all,
I am forwarding this information just in case someone may be
interested in it.I am not promoting the product, I only feel that
someone may find it useful in their endeavors. I have not used the
product nor do I know the person that sent it. I can only guess that
my address was taken from some genealogy list.

My name is Tony DiMaio with ADvantage Design Services in Buford,
Georgia. My company recently designed and developed a unique Cemetery
and Death Record management program for the Gwinnett Historical
Society in Lawrenceville, Georgia and we have just started offering
the program to other Historical Societies and those interested in the
preservation of Historical information.
Our "Cemetery Database Program" runs on Windows95/98 and has the
following features:
Add/Edit Cemetery Records (Cemetery Name, County, City, State,
Location, Cemetery Code)
Add/Edit Death Records (Surname, Given Name, Born, Died, Source of
Inform
Add/Edit Abbreviation Codes (used for the "Source of Information" in
the Death Record, i.e. AJC could be defined as "Atlanta
Journal/Constitution" or TS for Tombstone).
Find records that contain any data you request in any of the database
fields.
Search and Display or Print the records in a variety of formats.
Create a link to your favorite web site that you can access from the
main program window.
Create and Maintain multiple Databases.
We are currently working on an update to the program that will allow
you to select records from the database to create HTML web pages and
.txt files from your Database! The upgrade will be FREE to those who
have purchased the current version of the Cemetery Database Program.
The Gwinnett Historical Society is using this program to maintain
approximately 40,000 death records and 500 cemeteries using this
program. They recently published their "Gwinnett County, GA Deaths
1818-1989" book on CD-ROM that includes the "Cemetery Database
Program" with their Database.
The program can be purchased as a stand-alone program to build a
database of Cemetery and Death Records which can then be printed (to
publish a book) or made available on CD-ROM with our program.
The cost for the Cemetery Database Program is $49.95 (includes
shipping/handling) and can be ordered by Check, Visa, MasterCard or
American Express. Visit our web site at
http://www.adsd.com/software/cdb
for more information (including screen snapshots of the program).
The preservation and access of Cemetery and Death records has never
been this easy!
Regards,
Tony DiMaio
