I know I've asked for these before, but I'm asking again. As we prepare to
present our case and the Petitions to sympathetic members of the General
Assembly, I'd like to compile a list of INDIANA cemetery "horror stories"
to
bolster our position.
I'd also like photographs of abandoned, neglected cemeteries IN INDIANA.
Please write a paragraph or two (no more) explaining the situation, whether
the site was privately owned, where it is located (county and township), how
many graves, what kind of condition it is in, etc. Post your story to the
group at:
INPCRP-L(a)rootsweb.com
If you have pictures, send them to me (NOT the group) at my e-mail address
as attachments.
In addition to putting this information together for presentation to a
legislator, I want to put it on the website so, if you send it to me, I
shall presume your agreement to allow me to do so.
Thanks.
Lois
