Thanks, Sam. I did a search on the Shelbyville News site last night, but
the search engine apparently wasn't working.
As I expected, this story just makes my stomach turn but, as is not usually
the case, they have already arrested an 18-year-old and two 17-year-olds.
Additional arrests may be in the works.
Anyone who would like to contact the reporter, John Clark, can reach him at
(317) 398-6631 ext. 125 or
jclark(a)shelbynews.com .
BTW, I heard from Charlie Wilson (another Shelbyville News reporter) about a
week ago. He advises that they STILL have not yet reinterred the remains
harvested from Tucker Cemetery in Shelby County last December when the water
company accidentally found x-number of brick-lined burial vaults while
digging its new wastewater lagoon. Like the remains removed from Wilhoit
Cemetery last summer and Rhoads Cemetery 2-1/2 years ago, they are still
being held for "archeological research" at the University of Indianapolis.
