Several weeks ago, I recommended to you a superb cemetery restoration
book
named "Landscapes of Memories: A Guide for Conserving Historic Cemeteries".
I finally got my bank statement with the charge for the book. The cost was
$10.00 plus $4.75 in shipping and handling. We didn't know until now what
the exchange rate was and how much I was going to have to pay for the book
in US dollars.
The charge on my account was only $10.06. I was pleasantly surprised.
If you want to order a copy, go to:

Canadian Currency exchange at the moment is around $1.50CAN for each US
Dollar.
I should introduce myself. I'm Morgan, and I run the Family Roots of Pictou
and Antigonish Cemeteries site at Rootsweb. I've been compiling cemetery
information from Nova Scotia for about 5 years now. I'm also the webmaster
of the upcoming Nova Scotia Cemetery Finding Aid, a sister site to the
Ontario Cemetery Finding Aid.
I'm also working with reps from the Pictou County Gen Society on locating
pioneer cemeteries and restoring them. This project started last September
and we hope to have that county well under way by mid-summer, so that we
can move on to coordinate Antigonish County as well.
I've been lurking on this list, and I must say that I'm extremely
impressed with all the good work being done here. If anything, all of you
have helped me to focus in on the important issues of locating cataloguing
and restoring ALL burials in the area my family came from, especially the
small family cemeteries that have fallen into disrepair. Thank you all for
the help.
If ever I can help out please holler my way!
Morgan
