to participate in a PRESERVATION OF HISTORIC CEMETERIES WORKSHOP in a couple
of weeks and Ron asked me to post the info to this group as others may be
interested as well.
I'd love to go, but I've got weekend classes until the end of April and
can't go. (Gosh darn it!)

A Classroom and Hands-On Experience in the Conservation and Preservation of
Historic Gravestones.
Preservation of Historic Cemeteries Workshop
Purpose:
To learn proper conservation methods for historic cemeteries through
classroom and onsite instruction. The workshop will primarily focus on
assessing the condition of gravestones, stone identification, cleaning,
probing, resetting, simple adhesive repairs, and basic blind pinning
techniques. Also included will be an overview of documenting a historic
cemetery, including landscape features.
When:
Thurs. April 15 - Sat., April 17, 1999.
9 a.m. - 4 p.m., each day.
