I just got word of a Cemetery Preservation Fair on Saturday, October 9th at
the Frankfort Cemetery on East Main Street in Frankfort, Kentucky.
All events are FREE and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Kentucky
Historical Society, the Historical Confederation of Kentucky, Liberty Hall
Historic Site and the Frankfort Cemetery.

The program also features historical walking tours, hands-on gravestone
cleaning demonstrations, cemetery preservation information displays,
children's activities and refreshments.
Again, all events are free and open to the public.
DIRECTIONS:
From I-64, take Frankfort exit #58 at U.S. Hwy. 60. Go north on U.S.
60
(toward Frankfort). At the junction of U.S. 60 and U.S. 421, turn left onto
state route 676 (the "East-West Connector"). Follow this curving road to
the first traffic light. Turn right onto State Route 1659 (Martin Luther
King Jr. Blvd.). Turn left onto E. Main St. at the first traffic light.
Descend the hill, through two traffic lights, to the Frankfort Cemetery on
your left.
