Christine Llewellyn West wrote the above note and I can appreciate her
quandry--this sounds like something that would happen to me! But there very
well might be descendants of the family in the area, or at least online!!! I
would almost bet money that I could be one of them. Dale Drake, of Morgan
County, has been very helpful in the past to provide me with a listing of my
ancestors who were buried in cemeteries there. These include the FOWLER,
BROWN, GLASS, WILSON and other lines. I have inquired about the
LLEWELLEN/LOUALLEN line because the wife of Albert G. WILHITE, Marietta
LEWELLEN (LOUALLEN) was born April 27, 1834 in Morgan County, which is
practically next door!!! She is the only name I have so far on this line, and
she died in 1880 in Kansas. But I know she didn't get there on her OWN!!! If
anyone has information on her family and any cemetery locations, I would be
very appreciative!
