Dry porcelin clay
equal parts of water and glycerin
I am finding that the largest bottle of glycerin I can locate is 16 oz. for
$6.49 at a local health food store. Does anyone have ideas of other type
suppliers for larger, more economical quantities or perhaps an alternative
poultice recipe?
Please share your experience. Thanks! Debby >>
Sorry just opened this and if per chance you have not been told. Print shops
uses glycerin for keeping on fingers so that they can pick up paper easy. I
used to work in the bindery of a printshop and when we collated books and
worked with paper all day the fingers get dry and slippery and the glycerin
puts a coating to the fingers that does not leach off on the paper to spot
it. I don't know where you are so all I can say is look in the phone book
for printshop suppliers or go to a printshop and talk to them. They just
might donate a bottle to you, you never know till you try and ask for their
help or manybe they can direct you to where to get is cheaply.
Would you please send me the recipe and how to apply it and rinse(?) it off
the grave stone. Thank you. Beej in AZ
