I'm not questioning what is or is not trespassing. I thought there was a
law that allowed family to visit a cemetery one day a year and wanted to
find the citation if it existed.

Brad,
If you take a closer look at what constitutes trespass in Indiana (unless it's been
changed in recent years), I think you'll find that a property must be posted, fenced
and or you must be told to leave the property by its owner before you have violated the
Indiana trespass law. If the property isn't posted and fenced and if you haven't
been told otherwise by the property owner, I don't think you've met the legal
terms for having trespassed.
This isn't to say that you haven't trespassed in the true sense of the word when
you enter someone else's property without their knowledge, and I certainly would NOT
be an advocate of visiting another person's property without their consent; however, I
don't think that an individual can be prosecuted for trespass in Indiana without the
above criteria being met.

Brad
Indiana law does not allow anyone to Trespass on another's property without
their permission, regardless of whether it is a cemetery or whatever.
