We are starting clearing of the Stonless, Old St. Peters cemetery, Sat. Sept.
30. We could use help, but can make it with what we have. If anyone will be
in the area of Elizabeth In. tomorow, you would be able to practice stone
probing. This would not be breaking any kind of Probing Rules. These stones
were pushed off the cemetery proper in Aug. 1965, and are on a small incline
in back of the cemetery,Covered by dirt. There is apparently no record of
Burials. The only way the Burials here can be verified is by probing, and
recording what is found. So far I have found the only stones there. There is
no pattern to the Probing, it is hit and miss. I have written Permission from
the Priest, for anything we do. A memorial will be placed here Oct. 14, 2000.
All portions of stones recovered will be placed in the Memorial Area on top
of a Concrete Slab.
