Harold and Eleanor Asbury may have moved/plan to move to a smaller house.
You may find their phone number changed to a Rockville number
(765-569-____) or other Parke Co location. If you can't find them I could
ask Mom where they moved.
I don't get the Parke Co Sentinel, but I don't recall hearing of this DAR
effort.

Jim,
When I was in Parke County a couple of years ago, I contacted a Mrs.. Harold
Asbury about permission to view the Rawlings Cemetery. She indicated at
that time that she was a member of the DAR and that their local organization
was in the process of trying to get some of the Cemeteries restored. I live
in Ca and cannot help directly but am very interested in Parke County. You
may wish to contact her or the Local DAR for more support. The Phone book
lists Harold Asbury at RR 1 Marshall, 597-2514. This is the same number that
I used to contact her then.
I also had Contact with Max Swaim , who had been cleaning the DeBaun
cemetery on their own. They have lived in the area for some time and may be
good to rally for support. He was listed at 409 West Ohio in Rockville,
569-5338. Karen Zach is the coordinator for the Parke County Gen Web Page
http://www.wico.net/~zacho/parkeco.htm
I am sure she might offer some support for the Parke County Commission.
Let me know if there is anything I can do from here.
