Jack,
what town is St. Peteers Cem in? How far from Terre Haute? I'd like to
come and give you a hand there if I could. I have no knowledge in repairing
but if you need any labor help, I can do that.

Brian, Old St peters is about 20 miles West of Louisville Ky. and 4 miles
South of Elizabeth, Ind. In Tatlor Twp. Harrison Co. It is a pretty good Trip
from Terra Haute.
I was up in Owen Co. recently helping Art Dillman, on a small cemetery, and
that was Quite aways from where I live in Jeffersonville, In. across from
Louisville Ky off I-65 on the Ohio River. John Walters, my self and our
wives worked pretty hard for 2 days. We had decent luck recovering stones.
But like I explained to 1 or 2 others, this is not probing in a Cemetery,
this is Probing off a Cemetery over a small hill where the stone were pushed.
It is not Probe every 3 ft. or 8 ft, in rows, this is like trying to hit the
Lottery, you stick the probe in the ground anywhere you want in a certain
area, and HOPE you hit something. There is no pattern, and it covers about
150 ft. X 65 ft. in a woods, real Fun. Baring bad cold weather, or frozen
ground I am going to work there Saturday, December 9th. That is a long way
for you to travel, when I go to Terra Haute I travel I-64 west to 231 then
north to 150 then west to 41? that might be the wrong way. I appreciate your
offer, but if you are not used to the cold weather, wait until spring, at the
least the last of March. That is when I will start after the ground thaws
this winter. I put your address in my book, at least I can contact you
in the spring. Sincerily, Jack E. Briles Sr.
